R2R Project Description:
Ready2Relate (R2R) is a Project of The Center for Relationship Education (CRE), federally funded by the Administration of Children and Families (ACF).  R2R is designed to teach healthy relationship skills education to students in Colorado high schools (grades 9-12).  The Project equips 1,500 youth (per year) with skills for improving interpersonal connections among friends, family members, and romantic partners, understanding communication and conflict resolution, establishing greater economic stability and increasing knowledge around healthy decision making for successful futures.

Job Description:
The Ready2Relate Project Facilitator is responsible for delivering healthy relationship skills content from the REAL Essentials Advance curriculum to assigned schools in the Denver metro area and its extended region. In addition to program facilitation, the Project Facilitator will assist with administrative tasks related to attendance, student incentives, program completion and data collection protocols. The R2R Project Facilitator will also cultivate and nurture a partnership with co-facilitator teachers at each participating school.

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend certification training for the REAL Essentials Foundations curricula suite
  • Work with R2R Project Director and project staff to organize assigned school schedules, classroom teacher certification and best practices for co-facilitating content delivery
  • Track project measures including attendance, lesson completion and incentives for engagement
  • Assist evaluation team with data collection before and after project implementation
  • Align with R2R Project Facilitators and teachers to reach enrollment target of 1,500 Colorado high school students each grant year

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Expert level facilitation skills
  • Experience in delivering educational content to high school students
  • Positive rapport with teachers and students
  • Efficient skills with writing and data tracking
  • Punctuality and professionalism in all client connections

Desired Qualifications

  • Expertise around federal grant operations
  • Knowledge of REAL Essentials content and its supporting research
  • Existing relationships with Colorado high school teachers focused on health, family and consumer science, P.E. and/or leadership

The R2R Project Facilitator directly impacts thousands of students’ lives by delivering science-proven strategies for increasing relational wellness. Managing service delivery through the nForm database enables R2R Project staff to meet intended outcomes for the Ready2Relate project design, thus credentialing The Center for Relationship Education as a reputable source for current and future funding opportunities. 

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and tablets.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, with non-traditional work hours and occasional travel.

Position Duration:
This job is dependent on availability of federal funds provided under the Ready4Life Program. Employee understands that this position may not be extended if federal funding is no longer extended to The Center for Relationship Education.

Expected Salary Range:
$60,000 -$75,000 annually
