The following options are available for measuring impact after completing your REAL Essentials scope and sequence:
Pre & Post Surveys
The pre and post-test evaluation measures impact using a Likert Scale methodology to gauge growth among 15 questions focused on intended program outcomes.
Story of Impact
The story of impact evaluation is a useful tool for gathering anecdotal evidence of impact. Participants will have the opportunity to share how REAL Essentials affected them in a free-form style.
The speaker evaluation is a tool provided for educators to receive feedback about their presentation from the perspective of the participants.
The mini evaluation provides a medium for a simple check in to evaluate the over-arching takeaway themes after learning REAL Essentials. This evaluation tool is often utilized as a best practice for evaluating the REAL Essentials experience at the halfway point of program dissemination.
Web of Support
The web of support is an activity based evaluation tool that allows participants to summarize the REAL Essentials impact verbally, instead of, or in addition to, outlining their experience on paper.
The product review allows educators to review the REAL Essentials Curriculum as a resource for perspective individuals looking to invest in a relationship education curriculum for their community.
