R2R Project Description:
Ready2Relate is a Project of The Center for Relationship Education (CRE), federally funded by ACF (Administration for Children and Families). The Ready2Relate Project is designed to teach relationship education skills to youth in high school (grades 9-12), equipping 1500 youth each Project year with skills around improved relationship and marriage skills, greater economic stability, and increased skills around financial planning and budgeting.

Job Description:
The administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the Ready 2 Relate (R2R) project team by executing systems designed to achieve implementation and service provision, federally funded by the READY4Life Program. This position will oversee systems directed through the R2R Project Director and assist with organizational office tasks to achieve service outcomes for all R2R Project goals. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Schedule and execute data collection surveys for youth rosters prior to program delivery
  • Manage program participant systems including confirming calendar dates, ensuring workbook and materials needs and delivery, and overseeing email correspondence around training dates, deadlines, and scheduling with R2R staff youth speakers and school-based co-facilitators.
  • Maintain schedule for staffing to collect post-survey data collection after program service delivery
  • Scan and file program participant reviews
  • Oversee supportive services to nurture relationships with school faculty in participating R2R schools.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of nForm data systems functionality and administration
  • Affable countenance with both students and adults
  • Punctuality and professionalism in all client dealings

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Expertise around federal grant operations
  • Knowledge of all REAL Essentials content and its supporting research
  • Experience in scheduling and data management software programs

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and tablets.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, with non-traditional work hours and occasional travel.

Position Duration:
This job is dependent on availability of federal funds provided under the Healthy Relationships and Marriage Education Project. Employee understands that this position may not be extended if federal funding is no longer extended to The Center for Relationship Education.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years of relevant experience
A combination of education and experience may be considered

Contingency Clause:
All applicants for the Administrative Assistant – Ready 2 Relate role understand this job is dependent on The Center for Relationship Education READY4Life funding award (expected to be announced October 1, 2020).

Expected Salary Range:
$45,000 -$60,000 annually
