According to the Family Youth Service Bureau:

The goal of the TPP 2 grant is to establish, coordinate, and support a multidisciplinary network of partners to develop, refine, and test innovative interventions and to disseminate those demonstrated to be effective in improving optimal health and preventing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STI).within key priority areas. Applicants will select one priority area, and will establish, fund, coordinate, and support a multidisciplinary network of partners to develop and test innovative interventions in the selected priority area and disseminate those interventions that demonstrate effectiveness. Priority areas represent critical systems, populations, and/or program components for which significant and strategic investment in innovation and testing is necessary to make an impact on optimal adolescent health and, particularly, teen pregnancy and STI rate disparities. The priority areas include (1) juvenile justice; (2) foster care/child welfare; (3) caregivers; (4) expectant and parenting youth; (5) youth with disabilities; (6) youth access to and experience with sexual health care; and (7) youth engagement. Within the selected priority area, awardees and their network will explore, develop, test, refine, and evaluate many types of innovative interventions to reach the goal of preventing teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). They will disseminate their findings throughout the three-year project period.
