Joneen Mackenzie Joneen Mackenzie, RN, BSN President/ Founder
Joneen Mackenzie is a registered nurse and former 1st Lt. in the USAF. Joneen is the primary author of the national and internationally known WAIT Training curriculum. She has mobilized communities across the country to implement positive youth behaviors, parent connectedness, and community support. She currently is the President and Founder of The Center for Relationship Education nonprofit agency in Colorado. Tammy Borgias, Executive Director
Tammy Borgias has worked in the health education field since 1980 and formerly served as Director of Corporate Wellness and Athletics at the Denver YMCA for 10 years. She has been instrumental in developing a strong Board of Directors, oversees the 2.9 million budget, supervises the three federal grants, and writes and edits supplemental resources for the WAIT Training curriculum. Nikki Vitkus Nikki Vitkus, Administrative Manager
Nikki Vitkus has worked in the health care field for twenty years in Denver prior to joining The Center for Relationship Education. As the Administrative Manager, she provides customer service, billing information, schedules trainings and events and supports the office staff. nikki@myrelationshipcenter.org

Cassie Rothermich Cassie Rothermich, Healthy Marriage Project - Program Coordinator
Cassie Rothermich has a BA in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and joined CRE’s Healthy Marriage Project in 2007. She oversees grant reporting, manages marriage facilitators and coordinates events. She is also certified in marriage and relationship education for youth and adults. cassie@myrelationshipcenter.org

Rico Figueroa Rico Figueroa, Healthy Marriage Project - Program Coordinator
Rico Figueroa has worked for non-profits and taught relationship workshops for more than 15 years. He joined CRE’s Healthy Marriage Project in 2007 where he manages facilitators, plans events and engages in outreach to businesses, community organizations and the military. rico@myrelationshipcenter.org
Lauren Reitsema, Healthy Marriage Project – Community Coordinator
After her parent’s divorce as a teenager, Lauren made an intentional decision to better equip herself with skills and tools for her own future marriage. She graduated as the TCU Guild Scholar for the College of Communication Studies at Texas Christian University. After receiving her B.S. in Communication Studies, she went on to receive training as a certified Mediation Specialist. Lauren currently serves as the Host Coordinator and a Senior Workshop Facilitator for the Colorado Healthy Marriage Project. Lauren@myrelationshipcenter.org
Becky Blanc Becky Blanc, Bookkeeper
Becky Blanc has 15+ years experience in bookkeeping. As bookkeeper, she manages and monitors fiscal controls  and assists with other administrative duties. becky@myrelationshipcenter.org

In addition to those on staff, The Center for Relationship Education has many speakers and trainers who are available for speaking engagements, conferences, and workshops. Please call if you are interested in requesting one.

Shelly Donahue, National Trainer/Speaker and Youth Trainer
Shelly Donahue is a 19 year veteran health and PE teacher as well as a coach and mentor. Shelly is currently a national speaker and trainer for The Center for Relationship Education. Shelly has been instrumental in designing CRE’s Medical Cessation Program for working with sexually active youth. She has trained over 5,000 teachers across the country and has spoken to over 100,000 youth in the past decade. sheldonahue@slbbi.com

Josh Sosa, National Trainer/Speaker and Youth Trainer
Josh Sosa is a nationally known motivational speaker. Josh teaches relationship, life and love skills throughout the country and talks with students about reducing the “drama” in their lives. His goal is to educate equip and empower  individuals and married couples  with the relationship skills necessary for form and maintain healthy marriages and safe and stable families. josh@myrelationshipcenter.org

Donna Golston, National Trainer/Speaker and Youth Trainer
Pulling from her 18 years experience in marriage  education and her work as a teacher and national motivational speaker in diverse communities, including military and women’s groups, Donna desires to empower youth and adults in life and relationships. For nearly two decades she has equipped, encouraged and challenged others to think outside the box and take responsibility for their lives. Donna is a certified trainer of trainers in the WAIT Training curriculum and a certified facilitator for the Healthy Marriage Project. donna@myrelationshipcenter.org

Misty Willis, Speaker and Educator
Misty Willis has a BA in Social Science from the University of Northern Colorado. She has earned a Certificate in Diversity Relations through the City of Aurora and has developed numerous programs and workshops aimed at enhancing healthy realtionships and connections. She coordinates with schools and organizations to implement CRE’s WAIT Training curriculum.
