Locate and secure a training venue.
Please choose a venue that can hold 10-90 participants. We require a minimum of 10 participants to conduct a training.
Determine a marketing strategy.
WAIT Training will help you get the word out to your community through broadcast emails and additional marketing options.
Healthy Marriage Workshop (Couples and Singles)
Step One: Secure a location.
Secure a location that can accommodate at least 20-50 people. We require a minimum of 10 units (unit = 1 couple or 1 single) in order to conduct a workshop.
Set a date.
Choose a date in accordance with the locations schedule or that works best for you. We recommend that our workshops be conducted in a one day format of 8 hours. However, you know your audience best, and if a 2 part or 4 part series works best, we can accommodate that.
Sign a contract.
The Healthy Marriage Project (HMP) has developed a contract required for each workshop. The contract states the responsibilities of HMP and the responsibilities of the host. To view a sample contract, CLICK HERE
Request marketing material (if needed).
Depending on the size of your location, we can provide marketing material in the form of flyers and posters for promotion. We encourage our hosts to be creative with the marketing. Suggestion: send out broadcast emails to different networks. We strongly recommend that marketing material be ordered 6 weeks prior to workshop date to allow for proper marketing time.
